Hey all. I went into my control pannel and noticed an entry called freedomscientific talking installer 7.1 and another freedomscientific talking installer 8.0 which I'm guessing is part of the jaws installation. My question once I installed these versions which I installed 8.0 is it safe to remove the talking installers without harming jaws? Thanks.

I don't think this would be wise. But if you really want to try it, remove the 7.1 installer. If you do remove it, i don't know if you will or will not have speech when removing jaws 7.1.

the talking installer helps you fix problems like the install mantenance tool in earlier versions of jaws didd. i would not remove them

I agree. They aren't hurting anything--except taking up a little hard drive space, but they might come in handy.
